Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that support early learning and kindergarten readiness.
Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
Monitor and assess children’s developmental and academic progress.
Encourage positive behavior and social-emotional development.
Communicate with parents and collaborate with staff to support student success.
Follow VPK standards, school policies, and health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Preferences

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of the Florida 45-Hour Child Care Training.
Valid Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or Florida VPK Credential (FCCPC), as required.
Current CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or required by employer).
Ability to pass Level 2 background screening.
Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
