Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate VPK lessons.
  • Prepare children academically and socially for kindergarten.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, positive, and nurturing classroom.
  • Complete required assessments, lesson plans, and classroom documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with families and staff.
  • Follow all VPK, DCF, ELC, and center policies and requirements.
  • Participate in required trainings and professional development.
Qualifications & Preferences

Ideal Candidate:
• VPK qualified/credentialed
• Florida DCF childcare training completed
• Experience working with Pre-K/VPK children
• Strong classroom management skills
• Familiar with lesson planning, assessments, and kindergarten readiness
• Reliable, organized, nurturing, and professional
• Able to pass all required background screenin
