• Fill in for lead teachers who are out, ensuring continuity of care and education.
• Support classrooms during activities and projects, providing additional help and
guidance as needed.
• Assist with classroom management and engage with children to support their
developmental needs.
• Provide support in the museum gallery spaces, helping to facilitate educational activities
and exhibits.
• Assist with family-style dining, including meal distribution, classroom logistics, and
ensuring a positive mealtime experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment in both classrooms and additional spaces.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance the overall learning experience and
address any immediate needs.
• Follow and adhere to all school policies and procedures, including health, safety, and
supervision protocols.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or 45 DCF hours.
• Experience working with young children in a preschool or similar setting.
• Degree in related field (early childhood education, education, etc.) preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and staff.
• Flexibility to adapt to various roles and environments, including classroom support and museum activities.
• Demonstrated patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must pass a Level 2 background screening (fingerprints) and drug test.
