Duties and Responsibilities
    • A toddler teacher (typically ages 1–3) fosters physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development in a safe, nurturing environment. Responsibilities include creating daily lesson plans, leading play-based activities, managing hygiene routines (diapering/potty training), communicating with parents, and maintaining classroom safety.
    • Curriculum & Activities: Develop and implement play-based, age-appropriate lesson plans focusing on sensory experience, motor skills, and language development.
    • Care & Safety: Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment; supervise children at all times, including playtime, meals, and nap time.
    • Child Development:
       Promote self-expression, social skills, and emotional regulation, including using positive guidance techniques to handle tantrums or conflict.
  • Communication: Provide daily updates to parents regarding child progress, milestones, eating, and sleeping habits.
  • Record Keeping: Monitor and document developmental milestones and maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
Qualifications & Preferences
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma (minimum), typically with a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare or daycare setting.
  • Certifications: Current CPR and First-Aid certification.
